A Cast of Things: Exhibition Opening

November 3, 2017

A slice of the Chicago Architecture Biennial inhabits our bulthaup Chicago showroom. The LADG (Los Angeles Design Group), a Biennial participant, installed an annex version of their larger work on view at the Chicago Cultural Center. Their investigation for the Make New History biennial theme? The Rococo movement in Lower Bavaria, Germany. Intriguing sculptural works and gorgeous prints on aluminum grace the front of the showroom in easy view of the passerby on the street. Guests had LADG principal Andrew Holder talking the entire evening. Blue Door Kitchen kept the appetizers roving while wine and waters flowed. The room was filled with art chatter and good hearted laughter.
